My wish list
Last night I was thinking about all the thing I wanted/needed to get for my camera and decided that it would be great if I had them all written down. So here goes :)
I really wrestled with my number one thing I need/want but when it comes down to it, I know it's number one. 1) MD to 4/3(four thirds) lens adapter. I have some really great lenses that I've been using for my Minolta XG-M and would love to use them on my Olympus. Fotodiox makes this adapter and it seems to get pretty good reviews. I, of course, looked up some user photos with the same setup I'm trying to do to see if their photos came out well; they did. I was happy with what I saw. This adapter allows me to expand my lenses for the Olympus from the lonely one I have, to 4 lenses and a 2x converter!
2) Tamrac Velocity 7x or 8x camera bag. This is just a must. I've been looking at bags, talking to people about bags, even dreaming about bags, and it all comes back to the Velocity series being the best.

The next thing on the list would have to be a lens. With the lens adapter helping me out with two normal lenses, I'm going to opt for a super wide angel. 6) Olympus E 9-18mm f/4.0-5.6 Zuiko Lens. I want this bad.... like really really bad. I've looked on flickr to see some shots taken with this lens and I was amazed. I love wide angel/fisheye photography and I really. I chose this lens because the 8mm and 7mm-14mm are way more than I want to spend on a lens that I won't use all that often.
So... I'll leave it there.... of course I could go on and on, but these are the things I would love to have before my big vacation in February :)
Do you have any suggestions for me or know of another must have?? Please leave a comment.

The next three are also no-brainers 3) lens filters 4) memory cards 5) extra batteries. Nothing special here, just things that you have to get.

Day 8: A Night's Tale

I gave it a shot and I think it came out pretty well. Long exposure success!

Day 7: Winter Cooking?

After a gloomy, cold day in Georgia, I decided to pull out the crock pot and southern cook book.
It's time for some good, hearty food :)
